2025 Wedding Season

This year, I had the joy of coordinating three weddings on my own, all for people I know, which made them extra special! Each celebration took place in a different city, with outdoor ceremonies and indoor receptions. The photos above are a few of the selfies I always send Corban throughout the wedding day, a little behind-the-scenes tradition I love!

Savannah & Zack- May 25 Barn at Owl & Olive in Chehalis, WA.

Savannah was good friends with my younger sister growing up so I’ve known her a long time which made this wedding extra special. The barn was beautiful, the weather was absolutely perfect, and it was lots of fun other than the sprained foot I was still nursing at the time! The lesson I learned from this wedding is to have a plan before being onsite for the bridal party walking to the ceremony location. I didn’t realize until I was on site that it was down a long gravel slope and then I had to make that decision on the fly.

Stephanie & Michael - Aug 9, Two Vinters in Snohomish, WA

Stephanie and Michael were one of many couples in the family to get married in Michael’s family at his Grandmas house on the Everett waterfront. It was a picture perfect ceremony and then we headed to the reception at Two Vinters in Snohomish, WA. Two very unique spots for two amazing people to have an intimate celebration at grandmas and then a larger party with friends at the reception. It was a picture perfect albeit hot day, lots of laughing, and two amazing locations. The lesson I took away from this one was to map exactly how far the reception is from the wedding because both having a “Snohomish” address means nothing when it’s 40 mins apart.

Jessy & Reece - Oct 11 at Belle and Barn in Tenino, WA

This wedding was why the wedding business I’ll be opening soon was almost called “rain or shine events”. This was a super sweet and intimate wedding with less than 100 people that got delayed for an hour because right when the ceremony was supposed to start there was a torrential downpour. This wedding was only the 3rd event in the barn and thankfully the owners brought out beach towels and helped us dry the ceremony chairs, were super helpful and communicative, and were very sweet to work with. The ceremony was in the backyard of the house and it had a dramatic hills and clouds view once the rain cleared out. This was my first experience having to delay a wedding even though everyone was ready but this location really didn’t have another option with how we had it set up and it was totally worth the wait!
